Announcement September 2008
The European Integrated Project on Aerosol Cloud Climate and Air Quality Interactions, (EUCAARI) Airborne campaign took place in May this year and Intensive Observational Period is approaching its half. Thus, it is just right time to meet for couple of days and discuss where we are and how to proceed further on to assure smooth dissemination of results from WP 4.3 within EUCAARI community and in turn what is needed from other EUCAARI WPs.

Although the airborne campaigns will form core of the workshop, people involved in ground based observations as well as in modelling and WPs focused more on data analysis are welcome. EUCAARI is integrated project and this is a good chance tom make it so. Main items for agenda are following:
  • Overview over the IMPACT (http://www.knmi.nl/samenw/eucaari/ ) and LONGREX (http://www.pa.op.dlr.de/aerosol/eucaari2008/ ) airborne campaigns.
  • Data availability and access for EUCAARI community. Submission of airborne data to EUCAARI database
  • What is needed from other WPs for analysis of airborne data
  • Together with status of data availability from ground based stations and remote sensing platforms indicate possible "golden day(s)"
  • Reporting to EU and contributions on EUCAARI annual meeting
  • Lessons learned. What can be done better next time?
