Following the November 2015 Cloud Working Week hosted by SMHI in Norköping for the ALADIN-HIRLAM consortium, a Cloud Working Week is organized by Meteo-France in January 2017 in Toulouse. It will take place at the Météopole Centre International de Conférences from Monday 16th January at 9h to Wednesday 18th January at 13h.

The main topics of the workshop will be:

  to discuss about our understanding of the problem of low cloud/fog forecasts in our models;

  to exchange about current work on turbulence/shallow convection/microphysics parametrisations;

  to define a strategy for common work on these aspects;

Presentations on case studies, 1D case(s) and MUSC-testbed, PBL parametrization and microphysics scheme are particularly welcome.

Detailed program will be available soon. Monday and Tuesday morning will be devoted to oral presentations. Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning will be saved for plenary discussions in order to set a common work plan for comparisons, exchanges and validations.
