PART 2 :
TROPICAL WEATHER DISCUSSION
:
Convective activity is mainly located over the
eastern part of the
basin within the Near Equatorial Trough between equator and 10S and
85E/95E.
ASCAT pass from last night (22/11 at 15:44Z) and this morning
(23/11 at 02:48Z) suggest that an ill-defined low level closed
circulation exist within this broad area of disturbed weather. It
is centred near 4S/92E in the Indonesian AoR. MSLP is estimated at
1007 hPa.
As environmental conditions remain marginal (weak low level inflow
and moderate to strong easterly shear), this system should not
significatively strenghen within the next three days, as it tracks
towards our AoR.
For the next 72 hours, this system has a very low potential to
become a significant TC.
